Scheduled Trips

  •  Recent disaster in Japan has forced us to pursue options in other locations. Zermatt March 2012 will have dates and price in April 2011 upon my return from Switzerland.

  • Costa Rica has also been suggested for those wanting a warmer climate. We have been there before and had a great time. Let me know if you are interested. This would be a September timeframe trip that takes advantage of being seasons.

  • 2012 – Japan dates and pricing to follow. Just completed site visits and a trip itinerary will be coming along with a range of dates. Depart February for ten to twelve days to explore the Island of Hokkaido, major city of Sapporo, looking at their culture and ski/board related activities. Hokkaido has some of the best Champagne Powder on earth along with other terrain for skiers. Then visit Tokyo and possibly Kyoto.  More information to follow. Trip postponed indefinitely due to earthquake disaster.

Proposed Trips

  •  Costa Rica has also been suggested for those wanting a warmer climate. We have been there before and had a great time. Let me know if you are interested. This would be a September timeframe trip that takes advantage of being between our seasons. Leave me a message if interested.

    • Itinerary would be similar to the last time we were there.

    • Jungle canopy tours, water rafting/kayaking, Ecological friendly tours etc in one of Costa Rica’s most popular areas, Manual Antonio on the west coast near Quepos, staying where there are more monkeys than people, Costa Verde Hotel.  Then up country to their active volcano, Arenal.  There you will get the view the volcano from our four star hotel and it’s world-class spa (included in price) enjoying the hot waters that supply all the pools, the largest pool has a in-water bar.

Costa Rica has over 12,000 retired Americans, you can drink the water with the people proud of their culture. Spanish is not necessary but helps. They use dollars and Colons as currency.

Price will per person based on double occupancy, trip includes: round trip airfare from Great Falls (those that join trip from other locations could incur additional fees) to San Jose, CR, ground transportation and transfers, lodging and some meals (breakfast provided at Tabacon Resort) other group meals are in planning stage and will be announced when firmed up.

10-25-2010: Ireland was an outstanding success with all who traveled enjoying the trip. There are plans in the works for a return visit to Northern Ireland then over to Scotland bus tour where we would see the sites of North than take the ferry over to Scotland. Still very much a concept now but will provide more information as it becomes available.

I can recommend the tour company we used locally if you are interested as they did a great job handling all aspects of our trip in Ireland. Send me an email for more information: Marv Jordan  .
